Great analysts are often separated from good analysts by perspective - the ability to evaluate companies and trends not with just a snapshot from today, but through the lens of long-term experience. Laura Lederman is one of those analysts. Laura is a principal at William Blair LLC and has been with Blair for eighteen years covering technology software stocks including SaaS names and larger capitalization companies. Laura's perspective also comes from her education and early days in the industry. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas, Austin, with an MBA and undergraduate Economics/Finance degree. She is also a CFA and earned the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honoraries.
She began her career at Texas Instruments working as a competitive analyst. Under Laura's leadership William Blair was an early pioneer, and is now an authoritative voice in the new and rapidly emerging space now known as Software-as-a-Service.
