Mark Thacker

Mark is the CEO & President of GenieDB, responsible for the overall strategic direction, operations, and leadership of the company.

Over the last 15 years Mark has been involved with a number of emerging technology companies in the application management, IT platform and internet infrastructure space. Mark is an experienced technology entrepreneur and executive with extensive global technology management experience.

Mark co-founded DATAllegro in 2003 which was acquired by Microsoft in late 2008. Prior to DATAllegro, Mark held a series of management positions in the marketing and sales divisions of companies such as Exodus, Digital Island, Schlumberger and Cable & Wireless in the USA, UK, Hong Kong and Australia.
