Huseni Saboowala is engaged at Cisco as a Technical Leader in the areas of Cloud Computing, Unified Communications, Collaboration and Security. Currently he's focused on evangelizing the role of the network in enhancing Cloud Services such as IaaS, Hosted Unified Computing or Desktop Virtualization. His interests include how Network Services can be better abstracted and expose relevant intelligence, making them easily consumable by Cloud applications. He has spoken on Cloud and UC to large audiences on several occassions.
Prior to Cisco, Huseni has held several positions at Nortel, Sonus Networks and dynamicsoft (later acquired by Cisco). Over the past 15 years, he has been involved with activities ranging from Solution Architecture, Validation and Deployment to Partner and Customer liaison. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Bombay, and a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Kansas State University.
