Before 3tera, Bert held management positions with SolarFlare Communications (10GBASE-T silicon startup), Topspin (fabric computing switch startup acquired by Cisco), Nortel, Bay Networks (acquired by Nortel), Rapid City Communications (L3 gigabit Ethernet startup acquired by Bay Networks), CCIC, Inc. (pen computing startup), California Peripherals (optical storage startup), Cipher Data Products, Mobius Technologies and others.
