Burstorm

Burstorm is a cloud services distributor, specializing in Infrastructure Clouds (IaaS), Co-Location, and Network deployments.

With the many cloud service providers and even more offerings available today, it is increasingly difficult for our customers to keep track of the competitive landscape.

Burstorm continually monitors the market and helps its customers understand, architect, select and deploy the right cloud service solutions saving valuable time, money and resources.

Burstorm was founded with these principles in mind:

• It is not a question of “if” an organization will start using cloud services but a question of “when”. It is Burstorm’s goal to add value at any stage in the adoption readiness of our customers.

• We believe that although the variables around determining the right cloud services are many and complex, they are finite and solvable.

With these principles in mind, we set out to develop methodologies and technologies to support our customer’s transition to the cloud. The drawing at the right illustrates how our portfolio is organized.

Our methodology is supported by five distinct yet complementary processes:

Educate: To be a savvy buyer requires being an educated buyer, particularly in a fast moving area like cloud computing. It includes helping you better understand some of the fundamentals of these emerging cloud services and other training programs at any of the stages in our methodology.

Inspect: The Inspect phase is where we find out where our customer is, where (s)he wants to be and what projects might be considered to put in the cloud.

Architect; In this phase we design a couple of cloud solutions that will best map to our customer’s requirements.

Select: In this phase we work with the client to choose the answer that’s right for our customer’s requirements by addressing all aspects outlined in the section “The Challenge.”

Manage : The Manage phase is dedicated to ensuring the customer’s choice in cloud service is met by the different cloud services.

These processes are supported by the Burstorm Service Cloud™, which represents a set of methodologies and technologies to streamline and automate the delivery of Burstorm’s services portfolio. This includes creating and maintaining very strong Service Provider relationships.
